Discipleship – How can we help?

I have served in a variety of roles in the church over the years … From Small Groups Pastor to worship leader to discipleship group leader and more.

If there is one area of ministry that I am most proud of, it is that of a multiplying discipleship leaders.

You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus, and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.

2 Timothy 2:1-2

Using a very simple discipleship curriculum developed by a ministry leader in a former church, I have seen transformation in many people’s lives. Some are serving as quality lay-leaders in their local churches while pursuing secular careers as God has called them. However, of the members of the small discipleship groups I have led through this curriculum, almost half of them are now serving in full-time or bivocational ministry. Some have planted churches. Some are pastoring existing churches. Others are serving in closed countries overseas. At least one is leading a church planting movement in his homeland.

I recently started a new small group to work through this curriculum again at our current church.

I would love the opportunity to help you evaluate your discipleship process to not only help your people grow in their personal knowledge of Jesus, but to develop them into multiplying disciples, following Jesus by leading others.
