Session 1: The Purpose of the Church - June 20, 2001
      Introduction to the course: receive book and discuss the 5 purposes of the Church, and how NorthStar's Mission meets these purposes, then discuss the implications of how each individual Christian is a part of the Church, and has certain roles in accomplishing the purposes of the Church.

Session 2: Spiritual Gifts, Part 1 - June 27, 2001
      Introduction to Spiritual Gifts - discuss communication gifts and leadership gifts. Gifted2Serve is the most important portion of your PMP. Please have questions related to spiritual gifts ready when you come to class. If you do not yet have a book, you can take the G2S inventory on this site. Contact Andrew or Pastor Kevin to get a book.

Session 3: Spiritual Gifts, Part 2 - July 18, 2001
      Spiritual Gifts continued - discuss sign gifts and practical gifts, also discuss using your spiritual gifts to help determine your ministry calling. Gifted2Serve is the most important portion of your PMP. Please have questions related to spiritual gifts ready when you come to class.

Session 4: Personal Ministry Profile - July 25, 2001
      Discuss temperament, natural talents, learned skills, and life experiences. Please have the 5 elements of your personality profile completed before attending class. Please have questions related to these portions of your PMP ready when you come to class.

Session 5: Every Member In Ministry - August 1, 2001
      Discuss Heart's Call and the EMIM program at Lakeview, and why it essential to the health of the church. Discuss the future of an EMIM program at NorthStar. Review your PMP in relation to the current ministries available at NorthStar, as well as discuss the possibility of beginning new ministries.
